The patented Delta T Alert is revolutionizing how electrical systems are monitored—and people are talking about it. Below is a progress report of the Delta T Alert since its introduction, which took place at the AHR Expo trade show in NYC this past January.
As of March 1, 2008, Delta T Engineering has 1,000 units on order from the factory. They are due to arrive in approximately eight weeks. Of those 1,000 units, approximately 300 of them are sold to large and well know building owners and/or management companies within the NYC tri-state area. Many of them have purchased quantities of twenty-five pieces to start their Delta T program and intend to purchase more once they experience the reliability and accuracy of critical temperature data being transferred wirelessly to their on-site computer.
We have also had great interest and sales with a couple of well-known Fortune 500 companies as well as the public transportation industry. Delta T Engineering has agreed to install a minimum amount of units to these industries at specific locations. These industries acknowledged that they would need hundred’s of them locally as well as hundred’s more around the country. However, as with any new product, the customer needs to experience the reliability, accuracy and flawless operation of Delta T prior to ordering numerous units.
Many companies have also inquired about the use of Delta T on various applications other than electrical enclosures. These applications include, HVAC, data center server racks, freeze protection and the monitoring of electronic valves within commercial office buildings. Delta T Engineering is presently investigating these applications and will keep you informed as the progress continues.
